Creating a top ten list is easy and anyone can do it.
To create one, use the box below! <createbox> width=30 buttonlabel=Create a new list! preload=MediaWiki:NewTopTen </createbox>
Creating lists[]
Once you've entered in your title and clicked "Create a new list!", you'll see a page that looks like this:
{{Top Ten List <!-- Just write after the = below! --> |1 = |2 = |3 = |4 = |5 = |6 = |7 = |8 = |9 = |10 = }} |
Now all you have to do is add your reasons. Just type after the equals sign ("="). |
Once you're done, scroll down and click "Save page". Your page has now been created and is visible.
Editing a list[]
- We're using the page "Top 10 uses for ketchup" for this example
When editing a list, you'll see something that will look like this:
{{Top10 |French fries. |Homemade cocktail sauce. | | | | | | | | }}
To edit the text, simply make the changes you want to and click "Save page".
To add a new reason, simply add a line breaker ("|") below the last reason and enter in your new one after it.
For instance, if we wanted to add the reason "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit"? to the list, we would do this:
{{Top10 |French fries. |Homemade cocktail sauce. |Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit | | | | | | | }}
Alternatively, you may ask someone to add the reason for you in the comment section for the page.
